Waste Management
Waste management in all Merdeka mining operations is carried out so as not to pollute the air, soil, and water by continuing to comply with the management procedures in the Environmental Management Plan and Environmental Monitoring Plan.
Merdeka is actively implementing 3R (reduce, reuse, and recycle) campaigns. All residual waste will be identified, sorted, measured, and processed, or utilized in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The processing and utilization of waste is carried out in cooperation with a licensed third party.
