Garibaldi Thohir

Indonesian national, appointed as Commissioner of the Company in December 2014.

He was appointed as the President Director of the Company from 2012. He is a renowned entrepreneur and executive in the Indonesian business circle, most prominently as the President Director of PT Adaro Energy Tbk, the largest coal mine company in Indonesia. He currently serves as the President Commissioner of PT Bumi Suksesindo, PT Pani Bersama Tambang and PT Puncak Emas Tani Sejahtera and Commissioner at PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk. In 2011, Mr. Thohir was awarded as Businessman of the Year by Forbes Magazine Indonesia. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, USA, in1988 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northrop University, Los Angeles, USA, in 1989. He is one of the shareholders of the Company.
