CO2 Emission Reduction through Generator Efficiency

Due to its remote location, Wetar site electricity is generated from generators. To reduce CO2 emissions, Wetar site will be progressively change the generators with new models that provide greater efficiency. Five of the eighteen generators have been replaced with the target that all remaining generators will be replaced by Q1 2022. With an expected 10% fuel saving on these new models, this will reduce GHG emissions by approximately 1600 tonne CO2 annually.
