Merdeka is fully committed to the principles of freedom, equality and non-discrimination. We will endeavor to treat all individuals with respect and dignity and honor their fundamental human rights.
We realize that our business and operations may impact human rights; therefore, we are committed to prevent, mitigate and manage potential negative impacts of our activities. We also strive to promote human rights and contribute to raising human dignity and social welfare especially in communities impacted by our operations.
Merdeka is currently finalizing our Human Rights Policy, Guideline and Code of Conduct in consultation with the Indonesia Commission on Human Rights which will form the basis and guide of the human rights performance of the company and our partners.
